“Lucy in Lead” stained glass no.3 is complete

At long last my newest stained glass piece is complete. The piece represents my first attempt at creating something outside of my comfort zone.  I typically favor more abstract and modern work , however I am extremely proud of the way the work turned out.  Perhaps two of the greatest compliments I could receive were: 1) when somebody suggested that it looked like a kit.  “Lucy in Lead” is an original work, not any type of kit, rather it is the result of endless hours of cutting, leading, soldering etc.  2) the studio where I did my work requested permission to feature it on their website. It was a fairly complex piece to create, in the end I am sure all the time and effort was worth it.
