BREAKING: Great Northerners spotted growing deep in the heart of Dixie!!!

June 13,2012
Austin – In a rare look inside the victory garden, we found the usual suspects: tomatoes, cucumbers,  jalapeno and sweet green peppers, strawberries, carrots, corn, yellow/butternut squash, onions, cantaloupes (for trivia buffs, first cultivated by Egyptians), artichokes and a broad spectrum  of herbs and spices; notable, the presence of Great Northern white beans. natives of North Dakota, these protein packed legumes appear to be unscathed by the intense Southern heat and drought conditions and should be harvested in the next few days!
