A Quick Glance at the Urban Victory Garden

It’s early in the season and everything is still very young.  I thought it would be nice to share a look at this years garden.  For the Spring – Summer 2012 growing season the garden includes a number of herbs: Parsley (Flat & Curly Leaf). Dill, Chives, three varieties of Thyme, Cilantro, Oregano, Basil and Sage.  Vegetables & fruits include:  Artichokes, Asparagus, Black Beauty Eggplants, Cantaloupes, Cucumbers, Corn, Bush Beans, Tomatoes, Yellow Squash, Strawberries, Sunflowers, Sweet Green Peppers and Jalapenos.  The garden is completely organic and the young plants are battling off insects and caterpillars. I have planted a bunch of flowers to help combat the invaders.  Here are just a few photos of the young garden as the season progresses I will update the gallery.
